Is Weiser worth specifying?
It depends on the door and what it is protecting, and we would rather give you a straight answer than a sales one. This is sound residential hardware for its price tier. On an exterior door that matters, the higher-value change is almost always a reinforced strike anchored into the framing stud rather than a more expensive lock body.
Can Weiser locks be rekeyed?
In nearly all cases, yes — rekeying re-pins the cylinder you already own and is far cheaper than replacement. If the locks share a keyway they can also be keyed alike so one key covers several doors.
